Hey leech, here is what you are waiting for.... Now you can read how many people hate me... How many people want me to stop this shit.... How many people want to see me with an enema in my damn white pale gothic ass... Here are the hate mails you want to read.... But... Oh, what's this? I only get letters from people who support my work... who want the Goth Geese to leave this shattered world... this damned scum of which we must feel ashamed these days since they are soiling the good old name "goth". Could it be that the real goths support this site? It must be because I support the real goths by running this site!

Hey. Kinda just stumbled onto your site. I like it. Except for one
thing...See, I was just curious why you think knowing lyrics to songs like
'Home of The Hitman', 'Kiss The Carpet', or 'The Corrosion' (Very good SOM
songs) or knowing shit like Rozz Williams is one of the best gothic rock
artists in history (may he rest in peace) or that Ian Curtis of Joy Division
died by hanging himself. I don't see how that makes you a TRUE goth. I'm
not really that goth, but I have many friends who love the culture and
aren't 'wannabe' goths. If it's what's on the inside that makes you goth,
then why worry about the wannabes? I mean really. Being stereotypical about
gothic-ism is about as bad as being a posseur.
~Skeleton Key

PS: Peter Murphy is the vocalist for Bauhaus. Peter Steele is in Type O
Negative. And like I said, I don't believe that makes me a true goth. Keep
up the good work on the page.

Hi Jess, interesting e-mail. Your conclusion is wrong. Of course you aren't goth just because you know these things. As you perhaps understand I wanted to say that people aren't true goths if they don't know the history of this culture. Most of the teen goths (luckily not all) nowadays have no clue what goth means. "Uh, I wear a black dress and fishnets. Cool, I'm a goth!" is a popular attitude today. And forget my ridiculous "goth on the inside, goth on the outside" remark. Certainly the attitude towards goth counts a lot but since goth culture is also deeply influenced by clothes I doubt that somebody in blue jeans will be recognized as a goth.

I enjoy the site. You play right up my alley. I love sarcasm, and can't stand kids who think that they've figured out who they are already. I'm 23, and I'm still trying to figure that out. Great job, I'll be back on a regular basis, just to see what's new.

I totally enjoyed viewing the webpage of this past week's goth goose, VAMP...I don't know if you got the chance to look but the pictures of her friends are even funnier than the picture of her. If you don't feel like taking a look, I took a picture from the page for my own personal viewing pleasure( to get laughs, of course)...i could send it to you. The guy in this particular picture seriously looks like he's going out for Halloween, tho Vamp classifies him as being one of her " goth friends "...please...

hiya! GGotW puts a smile on my face and a spring in my step! *giggle*
Seeing losers finally put in their place makes me giddy. I wish people
would quit with all the comments..."oh, that's not right, picking on
people....blah blah....grow up, and leave them alone..etc etc," i'm sure
you've heard it all. The way i look at it is like this--these silly kids are
getting all dolled up because they want people to look at them and think
"oooh! he/she's WEIRD!!", and then they're surprised when people stare, make
comments etc. isn't that the whole point??! maybe they'll need to turn to
their "vampire religion"(!?) for guidance and strength. Where the hell do
they come up with these things!? Ah, do those dumb kids (and adults--can't
forget Eurogoth and Cryptie) make me laugh.
