how stupid they look, I mean realy, friends shouldn't let friends look like
that. I love your site, It's great for a laugh, keep it up.
Yours,
Hi Popple4000, thanks for your support. I promise you that as long as there are Goth Geese the Goth Goose of the Week will be online. :-)

Hee hee hee! Hello there straylight. I just wanted to tell you that I have
seen every person you've put up and I must commend you much for the
wonderful job that you've done. Finally! Somebody made a webpage that
expresses the feelings that I would express to the audience at a jenny Jones
taping. (I would love to just go and yell at all the mansonites on live TV
and tell them that they give all of us "different" damn sensible human
beings a bad name.) Anyway, you seem to work very hard at this site, you
make a lot of people happy, and smile, and laugh, and cry (from laughing so
hard!:)) including myself in all of these. Anyway, a wonderful job is what
you've done on this page and I completely congratulate you on your success
on this site, and I commend you.
Yours,
Hello, thank you very much for your support. It's great to hear that you appreciate my work so much.

For Christ's sake. I get nominated and all these little
kids walk around with even more pathetic pages than I? And
even you will admit, my page is, for the most part, good.
Oh, and by the way, I'm not exactley a pathetic 15 year old
either. *sigh* and I don't like manson, either...
Yours,
Hi Impure, hahaha! You mail smells like you cry for help. :-) I say let other people choose whether your page is good or not. Well, I can tell you that I like your letter very much, you are really not THAT bad compared to Eurogoth or Cryptie. It's nice to see that you take it with humour (and it is even greater that you have sent a nomination, too)

You say that "The criteria for being a Goth Goose are as complex as the goth
movement itself", but I think its rather simple. You are a miserable person.
I hope these innocent people that you have chosen to humiliate, and belittle
don't turn bitter and hateful like you.
Robin
Yours,
Hi Robin, thanks for criticism. Sometimes I really need it because I'm sooooooooo hateful and bitter. Yes, I am a very miserable person. You better never give me a gun because I would kill all the people. After all I just like to laugh at everything and sometimes even at myself - is this something you can do, too?

It's disturbing to know how many spooky kids exist that try to be goth. I had
thought it was isolated to the deep south, but apparently It's a world wide
occurrence. Living in Memphis for most of my life has made strolling through
your site funnier than you could ever imagine...Salute!
With absolute respect, Scarecrow Jack

Hi Scarecrow Jack, nice to hear that you like my site and the work I do. Please come back often.

i would like to comment on your great and wonderfully done page. I was
browsing around and found this page. I sat for the last 2 hours reading
all the goth geese for the past couple years and was surprised that i
actually did that...i hardly ever stop and read a complete page. So I am
now mailing you to say keep up the great work and that i am passing the
page`s adress to all my friends so that they can laugh at the geese
also. Great work and i`ll be back next week to see the next one
sincerely, nichts amour
Yours,
Hi nichts amour, thanks a lot for enjoying my humble page so much. I hope you come back often.

ROFL!!!!! I just cannot believe some of the "Gothic Gooses" you have managed to dig up!
The pictures are funny enough to stand alone, however, laced with your acerbic wit this site
is without a doubt one of the best pokes at the gothic subculture I have ever seen!
One day I hope to join the ranks of your Gothic Goosendom!
Until I resort to flour and charcoal...
Best wishes...Samsa ^_^

Heh. When I'm bored of work, I come here for a good laugh.
How do you do it? How can you do it? Don't the horrible
pictures come to haunt you in your sleep. *Grins*
Oh and thanks to you I rebuilt my site to look a little bit
better... So maybe some good has come out of all this.
*laughs*
Well keep up the good work.
Yours,
Hi Justin, thank you very much for your support. I find it very funny that you have rebuilt your site after seeing my Goth Goose of the Week page. :-) Interesting... Hehehe! You cannot imagine how hard it can be when I have to see the nominations. Usually I do not know if I shall laugh or puke. But since it is to entertaining I won't stop doing it.

If i could only stop laughing... thats okay i wanted my eyeliner streaming down my face. Funny i've never heard of this page b4 but now that i have i must link to mine as it will save me from needing to rant and rave 'bout mansonites and doom cookies. Pictures prove a point like no other. When i think of all those ppl i would like to see on this page... i will be getting back to you on that one.

Gibt es eigentlich deutsche "Goth .... Geese???"
"Wellenreiter in Schwarz" und "Nachtschwaermer". i git! ; )

*smile*

I have never laughed harder at anything in my life until I saw your Goth Goose this week.
Then, I read your comments and laughed even harder. Your
review was so incredibly accurate, and the mock interview was hysterical.
It's people like this who make me afraid to be Goth.

ha ha...i love the exposure of these so called non-conformists
who conform to some weird crap like gothism because they were too
ugly to try out for the cheerleading squad. i used to be somewhat
like that in high school (i stole the satanic notebook and it was
one of the funnier reads i've ever had) but then i went on a
diet and got some self esteem. i'll be seeing all you goth kids
on rikki lake!

...i fail to see how "phenobarbitol" qualified as a *goth goose* when it is
not apparent that she is even trying to be goth. Sure, she likes Manson and
glam and whatever else... But it's certainly not as though she runs around
with a vampire cape and fake fangs, congregating in cemetaries and smoking
cloves. In short, i don't agree with your decision to make her a goth goose.
If you just feel that she's a wanker, then that's one thing...but i don't
think she fits the goose's *bill* (how lovely...i don't often get a chance to use puns)
Yours,
Hi GRyNcHGiRL (uh, what a hell to type this), thank you very much for your e-mail. To make it short: The criteria for being a Goth Goose are as complex as the goth movement itself. And it's quite hard to choose sometimes but on the other hand there are moments when it is very easy - for example when you see a person without any personality which was created by oneself. This is the reason why I have chosen Phenobarbitol.

Hey, calm down - you are going to give yourself an aneurysm! (hehheh) I almost had one looking at these so-called goths. Don't worry about these pseudogothic rejects, they'll abandon the culture sooner or later, when they begin to tire of it. I agree wholeheartedly that they're bastardizing the culture. However, you seem to have a bias against goths under 18. I am an adult, and I have known of "goths" that gave it up in their twenties, which is pretty damn sad, not to mention disappointing. Many goths in their 'teens continue being part of the culture when they become adults. Anyway, it's funny how they end their clown white makeup below the chin. How can people put such unflattering pictures on their websites and think they're so cool? Hell, it's embarrassing just to look at them, but I was in such paralyzed shock and disgust that I could not look away. Keep up the good work.
Yours,
Hi Svetlana, thank you very much for your support. I give my best to let you have a good laugh at these stupid Goth Geese out there.

Hallo straylight..ich liebe dich die gotisch Gans
ah hell.. goth goose ist sehr glänzend... forgive me.. i've only
been taking German for two years.. i think someone nominated me for a goth
goose.. let me take this oppurtunity to say my dearest darling Straylight
you are a diamond among coal.. and i have a link to your page along with
the reality check on my own links page.. it would truly break my heart to be
laughed at so much seeing as how you get like ten million hits a day.. the
goth goose is brilliant and i've always thought that when someone makes fun
of another it's not even remotely funny if everything they are saying isn't one-
hundred percent true.. keep up the good work and be nice to people who deserve it..
Dezember
Yours,
Hi Dezember, thank you very much for your support. I do not know at the moment whether you have been nominated for the Goth Goose site but I could check it for you if you are interested. It's very nice to hear that you put up a link to my page. And by the way, your German is not really bad! Why haven't you written your whole letter in German?
